Nizwa fort

Have you ever went to Nizwa Fort before?

It's Oman's most visited national monuments. This castle was built in the 1650s by Imam  Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'rubi.I went to Nizwa last year with my family and we visited Nizwa Fort. The fort is very big and desighned in traditional way. This fort took it's built above an underground steam. The main part of the fort rises 30 meters above the ground. There are tow cannons gaurd the entrance to the fort which opens into a maze of room, doorways and corridors. There are four cannons remain on the towers top,s there's about 24  cannons and this helped the fort in the past from surprising attacks.Inside the fort there is an very old deep well and  also there is a prison where it used to keep the hostages and criminals. When I reached the tpo of the tower I coud the see the city, the mosque which is near the fort and athe date palms, the view was stunning.

This was the most beautiful experience I have ever had beacuse I gained knowledge about Nizwa and the fort and at the same time I had a relly good time .
